Add Some Fizz to Bath Time With a Homemade Bath Bomb

It is easy 1954 Topps baseball cards add a bit of fizz to your bath time with a 1972 Topps baseball cards bath bomb. If you do not know what a bath bomb is, you have been missing out, but that is a situation that can soon be remedied. Just read on.

A bath bomb is a sweet scented mixture of citric acid, baking soda and other
Ingredients that begin to fizz when you drop them into your tub and as the bath bomb fizzes; the scent is released and fills the bathroom with a comforting aroma that lasts for hours. In fact, you may be tempted to stay in the bath for hours, but don't do it, it is no good smelling great if you look like a prune.

To make your own bath bombs, you Batman need 1/3 part (cup, g, lb -- however you want to measure it) citric acid, and 2/3 part baking soda and - the magic ingredient -- some witch hazel in a spray bottle.

First of all mix the baking soda and the citric acid thoroughly together. Then add your chosen colorant and fragrance.

Now for the tricky part -- adding the witch hazel. You will have to work fast here because the mixture will start to fizz as soon as the spray hits it. So spray with one hand and keep stirring with the other until the mix is nice and wet (but not too wet) and has the consistency of play doh.

Okay, so far so good. Next you need to press your play doh-like mixture into your chosen molds (ice cube containers work well). Be sure to press the mix well into the molds and then leave them to sit overnight until dry.

If your bombs begin fizzing away in their molds, continue to press them down. All that fizzing indicates that you must have been a little too eager with the witch hazel and got your mix too wet. Don't worry you will know better next time.

Incidentally, the harder you pack your mixture into the mold, the harder the bath bombs will be and harder bombs tend to last longer.

Once you have learned how to make bath bombs and the novelty has worn off, allowing you to finally get out of the bath, you might want to consider making a few bombs to give to friends as gifts, or maybe even knocking up a batch or two to sell--if you can bear to part with them, that is.
