How to Play Marbles - Part 2

(Part two in a five part series on marble games for kids. . .)

Few kids' activities are as versatile, durable and long lasting as marble games. Versatile because there are so many different ways basketball cards Thor Durable because marbles don't wear down. Game 1: Start with three marbles each. Each person takes one marble and sits on opposite sides of a rug. Shoot your marble a little way toward your child's marble. Now she shoots her marble a little way toward your marble. Keep approaching each other's marble in small increments. If at any time during the game one of Thor shoots your marble off the rug, you lose. When one of you feels confident enough, take a shot at the other person's marble. If you click the other marble, you win the marble. Add it to your collection. If you miss by a small margin, chances are your marble will make an easy target. Keep playing until one person is out of marbles.

Game 2: Make a loop with kite string and place it in the middle of a carpeted area. If you have an area rug with closed shape patterns in it, then use one of the closed shapes as the target area (and forget about the kite string). Sit two or three feet from the target area opposite one another. Let your child pick twenty marbles with the same feature- all red, for example. You pick twenty marbles with a different feature-all green, for example. You each take five marbles from your total collection to begin play. Now take turns shooting one marble toward the target area. Knocking the other person's marbles out of the target area can be part of the strategy. After you have each used your five marbles, count who has more marbles left in the target area. That person wins all ten marbles used in that round. Resume play with five marbles each. Continue until one person's marbles run out. (This game can be played by more than two people.)

Marble games are a great way to spend quality time with your child. There's nothing to plug in, no batteries, buzzers or loud noises-just good old fashioned fun you can enjoy for years to come. Have fun!

Children Need Your Help At Home To Be More Successful

You know your child better then any teacher dose. You have more influence over your child. More than any teacher could possibly have. You are also the most important teacher your child will ever have. Your home is the most important school your child will ever know.

As a child today they compete in school. Tomorrow they will compete in life. By taking the time to give your child a well rounded mental, and the emotional development in there life that they need. You will be building Your Childs foundation for there success. What I am talking about is knowledge. It's knowledge that will be the key to a Childs success in life.

A child who reads has an easy time with almost any scholastic endeavor that might cross his or her path.

Some children have difficulty in learning to read effectively. But that doesnt mean that Wolverine should not encourage them to read. If your child has difficulty reading then you should get them easier books. Books that your child has an interest in; Im not talking about comics, but if thats what it takes to get your child interested in reading then by all means use them. Too often we forget about the importance of reading. With all that goes on around use its not hard to do. Reading has become for our children a thing of the past. Because of all the other items a child has to get enjoyment out of. Dont let this happen to your child there are more benefits to reading other then enjoyment. Reading is the best learning tool on the market. Hopefully by instilling the concept of reading in your Childs life at an early age it will grow with them in there life.

If your child simply buy world of warcraft gold doesnt like to read then try this. You as the parent know your child better then any one will ever know them. Find that very thing that your child is most interested in. then find a small book about that very thing, and read that book. Then tell your child about this book you read. Only giving your child the parts that you know will arouse there curiosity. Then when your child asks you what ells was in the book. Hand your child the book and tell them its in this book, and you can find out for your self just read it. It may start them out and it may not. But I promise you this if you continue to do this very thing. And only tell your child what will peak your Childs interest. Your child will read the book because the human mind no matter how big or small is very curious. Your child will want to know more about whats in the book. You just have to feed your Childs mind enough.
